Since we've been spending the last few months trawling the internet for information about the new station 5 in MRCP PACES I thought I'd share some of the pages I've found. As I find any more information on the PACES changes i'll add them here, and feel free to add any more yourself in the comments section.

A really good overview of the new changes including the mark scheme, and the main differences between the old station 5 and the new station 5. It also covers the seven clinical skills you'll be examined on throughout the exam. Station 5 is the only station in the PACES exam where you'll be tested on all 7.

As long as you're eligible to take the MRCP PACES exam in the 2009(03) diet (i.e. you have passed MRCP Part 1) you can access a number of videos and podcasts the Royal College of Physicians have put together. Especially interesting are the station 5 videos of the consultation and then the candidate presenting to the examiners - it gives you a great idea of how the station will run and the types of questions you might be asked. Other videos include demonstration of how a non-English speaking surrogate might work, and are definitely worth a watch.
