GPST Stage 3 Online Revision Course

By Hannah Brown in GPST on Thursday, January 20, 2011 @ 10:58

We've been working on GPST Stage 3 online revision for over a year now, and the full subscriptions are now available.  GPST Stage 3 assessment centres are notoriously tricky, but practice can make perfect.  The GPST Stage 3 assessment has changed in 2011, with the removal of the group discussion.  Stage 3 now comprises written prioritisation exercises and simulation exercises, both 'performed' in front of a number of examiners.

GPST is all about 'knowing the rules' of the game, and Stage 3 is no different.  They may sound obvious, but don't underestimate their importance.  Don't appear dangerous.  Don't put your own needs last (there are often questions that challenge your work/life balance.  Don't put yourself at risk.  Don't do anything that compromises your own personal ethics, or the ethos of the GMC's Good Doctor paper.

Our GPST Stage 3 Online course is designed for those of you that haven't got much time between Stage 2 results and your Stage 3 assessment.  Time can be really tight and although a face to face course can be great for practicing technique what you really need is something that fits in with a busy schedule and means you don't need to take any study leave.  Our online course does just that.  You'll get vLectures explaining the different parts of the assessment centre, along with links to useful resources.  The main revision areas feature 32 patient simulation cases and 30 written prioritisation cases.
